Sorry, angry RHCP fans, but Mr. Bungle were an amazing band, great songwriters and musicians. Maybe Mike Patton IS an asshole, but he's certainly a lot more talented Anthony Kiedis. I do think that making fun of RHCP's dead guitarist was going too far here though

Actually it the other way around. RHCP didn't steal anything. Mr. Bungle purposly named the album California to piss off the chilli peppers after Kiedis got them kicked off a festival show. Its all on Wikipedia. Just look up Mr. Bungle.

Are you fucking serious? Mike Patton owns a fucking experimental/noise label. He's played in everything from noise/industrial to triphop to soul. Do you understand anything about music genre definition? I'm not defending the quality of his music because opinions don't matter. Just saying you have a poor understanding of simple music concepts.

RHCP didn't steal the album name. It was a coinsidence that that happened the same year. Warner Bros. made the right (financial) decision and released "Californication" first. That being said Bungle and Patton are light-years ahead of the Peppers in terms of musicianship and the Peppers have at least one great musician (i.e. Flea).
