It is very important to realise that Nam myoho renge kyo is NOT a religion, but that religions are formed to represent the Law. NMRK has existed since time without beginning. Humanity has only known about it since the 13th century when Nichiren Daishonin was the first to recognise and chant It.

NMRK is still functioning within ALL LIFE whether we know it or not, or whether we believe it or not. It is essential for Life to exist, just as air, water and spirit etc etc - and of course, whatever else may be essential for Life to exist elswhere in the universe. The difference is, when we chant (particularly sincerely)NMRK (Its eternal and supreme vibration) we are then able to manifest the effect of NMRK more positively within and around our own lives.

Nichiren repeatedly tells us throughout His Gosho to 'put our faith in the Law & not in the person' . He did not want to be worshiped, stating that Buddha exists because of the LAW & not the other way around.
He was an enlightened entity as Jesus probably was, but unlike Jesus, Nichiren wrote down his teachings. The desciples wrote what Jesus taught & not until many years after his crucifiction.

Considering this time gap, plus how these same men fled when Jesus was arrested, denying they knew him, to me, show a great example of their lack of trust, understanding and faith in Him But Jesus did tell his desciples the Kingdom of God is within & that we reap what we sow = cause & effect.. If you study what NMRK means and represents in Itself, you will then realise that Jesus & anyone or anything else functioned according to this Law.
