She got off because the police bungled the evidence. They took her blood sample and her diary- no warrant. Also, a dimwit cop took the murder weapon, put it in a towel and tossed it into his glove box for 3 days where it remained unaccounted for those days. All agreed the 'murder' weapon had been mishandled, even by the so-called experts.

She was actually sentenced to 30 days in jail; the judge let her work it off when it would not interfere so much with taking care of her three children. Funny thing is, she spent weekends at the jail! Aren't kids around on the weekends, like not in school and doing family kinda things?
Let's not forget she ran off and married her defense atty. who got her off, leaving his wife and children btw. I figure she was about as innocent as OJ
