he's real good. I went to his show a few years ago. I'll admit i prefered the hellbilly stuff he played the first, but the punk stuff at the end was pretty good.
But damn its gotta be hard looking and sounding exactly like Hank Sr. He almost couldn't have made a living trying to sing straight country, cuz his whole life would been comparisons to his grandpa.

You all probably know about Wayne Hancock already, but if you haven't heard him yet--check him out. He is the real deal & Hank III has covered alot of his tunes, only Wayne wrote 'em & does 'em better.
I do like Hank III though. I have seen his country band & saw him open up for Beck with his punk band one time. He played an acoustic through a distorted amp & sounded pretty cool.
