How do you figure R:TW is a RTS game? It is a turn based strategy game with pausable real time combat combat.
Does Imperium Romanum have pause and command or is it a click fest as you try to keep up with everything going on? If they allow pause and command I like games like this but if they don't I tend to hate them. I like to relax when I play strat games and not be treated like a rat in a cage.

Trust me its mainly city building its hardly a click fest and when it comes to MP then Total war is FULLY an RTS and if your seeking exciteing combat in this game then it is not recomendable

OK, never played R:TW in MP. In SP it is not a RTS game at all except the combat part.
I've already gone and downloaded the demo to this game now so will check it out later. I saw it on the shelf at Walmart but didn't know anything about it so that is why I ended up here looking for info on it. Thanks.

The gamespot is crappy. I barely have the minimum requirements for the game and it runs very nicely. Besides a brand new patch has just been released recentely. It's a great game.
