Very interesting story! I live in Japan, and the Japanese have some crazy versions of English that they expect me to know, simply because it is a word made from English. When they ask me, I cannot help but shift my eyes. "huh??" I finally just tell them, JUST TELL ME IN JAPANESE! For example. Pasokon = computer. Selo = magician (???) pachislo = pachinko and slot

HeH, Funny story xD And yes, it was a funny story :P But I'm glad he realized you meant a hairdryer :P One of my friends went to Disneyworld and she didn't know that Fedtmule was called Goofy in english. (Fedtmule is his danish name) So she went in a store and asked if they had any socks with Fedtmule xD And the man behind the disk looked at her as she was crazy. Luckly her friend came and said 'His name is Goofy' xD That was so much fun :P

Too bad your audio ...( 4 months ago by itekisan)
Too bad your audio is so low, I cannot hear anything (except the short music somewhere at the beginning) right here where I am (cannot make it even louder).
When I had an Italian gf we had similar difficulties sometimes. For instance she said for lunch she will make "Pasta mit Eis" meaning pasta con uova. L'uovo in tedesco è Ei, but the plural should be Eier. Eis means gelato! So, that's why I was not so happy with her cooking plan first! ;)

Oops, for English-only readers:
pasta = noodles (more or less)
con = with
uovo = egg
gelato = ice cream

That's a funny story! if you have more, you should make a videoresponse. ^_^
By the way, you are totally right about the audio: when I registered that video I had a bad microphone. That's the reason why I kept so close to the pc (which I don't like because I don't wanna show my face so much!!).

I could listen to it now, I have better audio facilities at this PC here.
If you use Windows MovieMaker, you can just increase the audio's volume I think by right-clicking and selecting "volume" (just some tick marks to the right, not to the total right!).
And you don't need to be shy about your face - you look actually nice'n'pretty! :)

Yes! I have another one!
When I was in Turkey, years ago, a man realized that we were Italians so he said ''AH ITALIAN, PISA, PISA!'' and we thought he was referring to the Italian city of Pisa, in Tuscany, which was a curious thing, since it's a nice town but not so famous! Instead he meant ''ITALIAN PIZZA!'' and we were misled by his pronunciation! ^_^

"Pisa ... it's a nice town but not so famous." Really? Maybe it's not a big deal in Italy, but in America the Leaning Tower of Pisa is VERY famous! :)
