gravel had the best response about god and prayer, but i think they all did rather well (strong on separation of church and state). this was a political performance. yes she stalled, but she had to go first, and it's not just a matter of what they believe but also what's going to sound best to all types of potential voters. i'm a dem, but politics is personality.
