A computer's not a person, so it needs a special prononciation of words, I noticed it wrote many things wrong what you said something else. try to speak slower and make a more clear accent, you'll see it works. :)

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but you took 10 1/2 minutes to complete a simple script that would have been SOOO much faster to write. Probably somnewhere in the 2 minutes range (if you were going REALLY slow). This shows yet another reason why i don't want Vista.

Speech recognition hasn't changed much in the past 15 years. It it much faster to just to type it out and be done with it. Can you image an office full of people taking while trying to type a letter. CHAOS

Did you type that with voice commands aswell? or do you have a spelling problem? Besides, mac is better in alot of ways.. but it has nothing to do with not crashing... compared to a pc there is not much diffirence there.. really..

I worked so long and hard to train my speech recognition software only to experience pretty much THIS when I tried to use it. It truly was faster to type even though it kills my wrists. Speech recognition is nifty but it has a very long way to go.

Speech recognition is a smaller part of the large whole. From what i've learned, and the more i hear of M$, the more i don't like them or their products. The only reason i've used XP in my last Barebone's system is because it didn't have a audio Realtek driver on linux. (which i could have lived without if i had to.) You can bet when i upgrade all M$ Items on my system are going 'bye bye'.

i used to be able to control the computer purfectly with windows speech recognition but now it cant dictate at all! i can still do commands but i cant write anything anymore can anyone PLEEEEEEEEEEEZ help im pissed of with it ive tried ERVERTHING!!!
