Good song and Mike is talented but saying it is realer than US rap is a little bit much. It's certainly better than most radio hip-hop in America but it doesn't come close to Ghostface, any of the Def Jux crew, Wu-Tang, some Jay-Z and so on. You wanna hear some real verbal genius, listen to some Aesop Rock. Don't judge American rap by the shit that's played on the radio.
