You might want to actually learn English before you try to post in it, or else find someone who can translate it for you - I can barely make out what your trying to say. As for whales being considered a "marine resource" I don't give a damn - stop pillaging the oceans! And I never said whales shouldn't be killed because they aren't fish (I don't want fish killed either)- I was pointing out that idiots keep calling them fish when they aren't!

i don't think violence can be solved by violence, any more than japan can solve cultural problems through lying to the rest of the world. the scientifis research is bullshit, cuz it's possible to sample whale DNA (which is all they're doing scientifically) by taking a skin sample with a special dart gun. they need to use the scientific methods of the 21st century, not the dark ages.

if the japanese are so worried about their culture, then why is whaling the only part of it they're REALLY trying to preserve. and whaling has only become a big part of all their culture since War II. if that's long enough to call it cultural then they're a small minded nation that didn't have much culture in the first place. and it takes a violent nation to be proud that murder is part of their culture.

as for research, japan has only published 60 somthing papers on their whaling research, and only 4 of those had info on that required whales to be killed. also, greenpeace is a peaceful organization. seashepherd is the only one you can justifiably say have used violence. about 70% of the info in this vid is bull shit or twisted. and it takes 1 to 2 hours to bleed a whale 2 death. it's actually very rare to harpoon a whale so it dies quickly. so fix your info. & change your misic, it's annoying!!

I think a Collins class submarine in Australian waters waiting for a whaler deciding to kill whales ought to solve the problem. But realistically they need to do to the whalers what we did to the Patagonian Toothfish sailors, board their vessel, impound the boat and catch and charge them if their found in Australian waters.

Strange isnt't it? They're leveling one historic building after antoher (Kyoto for example) without complaining about loosing their culture but defend whaling till death.
