EDIT: I get tons of emails asking me for a DVD of this show. There has never been any official release of this gig,
but there are two unofficial DVDs. One of them has the full concert but with a bad soundmix and not very good camera angles but it's quite widespread among Yes fans. The other one, the source of these clips, is not the full show but has sound mixed by Trevor Rabin and well cut video, presumabl

Well I've always considered them the best band ever. Even when I wasn't in complete tune with their music if that makes any sense.
The beauty of Yes is that you can listen to them for 30 years and still hear something new in the same song.
Try doing that with "Whole 'Lotta Love" or " Won't Get Fooled Again".

Even if it had more to do with the record company "suits" thinking of a new way to milk the Yes franchise than anything else (according to Rabin), it was cool as a one-off tour. It's too bad Trevor hasn't managed to take time over the last decade to record/release any new rock material between doing film scores. What a ridiculously multi-talented guy.

For some reason I always think they were capable of so much more. In the 80's, yes were stuck in a bubble of melodies that didnt create much emotional release.
It also seemed like when ever bruford is present the band can digress from there bubble and create powerful interesting melodies.
I dunno,.. I could be wrong.

I find the history of this band quite amazing. Trevor Rabin being pulled in at the last minute, submits and produces three songs, and two are top 40 hits. ABWH write the rest of the album (except for one Chris Squite song, or 10 songs) and manage to get two hits. Rabin bails out the band on Talk and produces when there is no money to hire one. They guy is so talented and struggled for years before Yes. I am glad he has been so successful with his movie soundtracks. Too bad no more rock music.

Some brilliant songs by them here i've only just heard them properly other than on the vice city video game and im very impressed with there level of musicianship anyone notice the satch and steve vai similaritys of the guitar playing? Brilliant songs once again :)

Wow! Just wow! When I first heard this song I was caught by the catchy intro. I did not know the names of the singers,but I know YES from the song, "Owner of the Lonely Heart." Such a great band. It's like an orchestra. Look how many keboards, and percussions, and the singers sing like choir. It's beautiful and moving, powerful song.

I`m 50 yo.I know Yes since the 70`s and Deep Purple was my favorite band at that time. But today,after listening their entire discography I can say :" this is the best band in the world of all times" !!!

Back in '91 all i was listening to was metal being in high school (Queensryche/AC/DC/Iron Maiden etc.) until some kid left this tape in my car. I figured i would listen to it and it was pretty cool and put me in a more mellow mood.

Does anyone know what kind brand of guitar Trevor is playing? I noticed it says Pantera on it. Is that in refrence to Dimebags old band or something else? The headstock looks like a Jackson.

My favorite song from this lineup. It came at a time of changes and soul-searching in my life and really meant a lot to me; to see it here is so nice. I have a lot of catching up with my favorite band to do so I appreciate this. thank you. Also I know there is so much debate here about competing members and I don't pretend to be good at it, but I really believe that all the varied members have had something unique to bring to the band, love it or hate it. I love it.
