At least three homes were washed away as Lake Delton overflowed in Sauk County and washed across the highway into the Wisconsin River. Take a look at some of the amazing raw video of one of the homes being washed away -- and the aftermath.

You're a fucking idiot. My dad does carpentry as a job and i know his houses are very stable. And bricks are less sturdy than a wood framed house.

i can promise you that a brick house would not have held up like that once it hit the water. but, i guess that since brick houses control the weather and prevent levee breaks and soil corrosion, they would have that mystical advantage over paper.

man this was just so crazy. i just went up there a couple of weekends ago and walked in the lake. there is absolutely nothing left. just a small stream of water that's emptying into the wisconsin river. just crazy

haa i hate wisconsin i lived there for all my life and i remember that week with all the storms coming i live in germantown,Wi so it wassnt as bad or flooded but the storms were crazy i live right by a tornado siren and it went off 6 times in like 2hrs.

i just got back from wisconsin dells ad we went and walked on the remains. its incredible.i have some rock form the bottom the i will keep forever. its so sad but so cool that you have the opertumity to do that. but the family ....wow
