Tickbryan why so much hate of Warren? Since when is it bad to throw in a cover tune in the middle of a concert? It doesn't mean that you are incapable of creating on your own, just a tip of the hat to the influences. A mule show is mostly Mule songs, written by Mr. Haynes, with a few tasteful covers thrown in to keep it interesting.

great R&R crunch!!!...but in answer to that other comment.. a soldano never was creamy..you cant tell with the recording as it is not comming through..they are all screamers and high endy...(around 5:07 and 5:27 is the hint)if that was played on a strat your ears would be bleeding...

Maybe around the 5.07 he changed chords and went up to get to where he wanted to go with the solo. Believe,Warren can do things with guitars that most cant do, air"in it.

Warren Haynes and Leslie West are great frends. Warren will tell you that Leslie West was one of his biggest idols and influences. You can try and compare the two but its tuff. Leslie had much better tone and vibrato. NO ONE has been able to duplicate West's tone. Now Haynes can play faster and may play play a better slide guitar, but thats a tough call. On vocals Leslie West & Ozzy may have the 2 most recognizable hard rock voices of all time. Either way Leslie & Warren ROCK!
