I'm sorry that his message failed to catch on with the electorate in the early primaries. The middle class prefers to believe in the "Lotto delusion" - that they, too, will enter the ranks of the wealthy by going out and spending more and racking up debt. Most of us know that our standard of living, when the value of our time with our families is factored in, is below that of that of our parents' who started their families soon after WWII. John Edwards made the mistake of taking on too many big boys. The puppet masters in their dark suits who control our media, corporations and government. When he threatened the globalist corporations and those who worship with the free trade mantra, they marked him as an enemy.
