dude if ur going to say XMA isnt marital arts then even MMA isnt. Martial art these days is a abbused word, it is not just fighting, martial art is a combatative art which is about honestly expressing ones self. If a person feels XMA is the best way to express themselves than it is a martial art. I loose my respect for MMA beucase most figheters fight for money and respect and all they do is fight when really there is a great philophoscal aspect to martial art. I hate this shit. XMA isn't a very good way of showing Martial Art. MMA is even worse. XMA shows katas (not exactly what I'd do if I got attacked), MMA is a sport. Even though the guys are big hulking strong fighters, they do it all for glory and money. Martial Arts is exactly as the name implies, Art. There is no Art in MMA, it's sloppy, it requires more brawn than brains, and that alone is enough to make any real martial artist know how to tear them down.
