The anime is not the 100% of the story story, I can tell just by LOOKING at HALF of this.
The anime adds it's own twists into it like the guy with the red hat and masque. In the play, there was no masqued muroder, just Romeo, Juliet, their parents, a guy who wanted to marry Juliet, Romeo's friend, and the preist in the final scene of the play.

well you can watch the anime and write an essay about but i don't belive this a way to get good grades beacuse in any anime or even disney are changeing the story as the please. the original book is maybe though to read but you can trust the information it tells you. btw i do love anime just as much as you so don't get mad on me

It's a really good anime..maybe the final part is not enough good..they invented some parts, and as the story of romeo and juliet..well watch it! you won't be so disspointed..jut remmenber..this is a rome and juliet story!!

the anime is so awesome but its not the real thing. its better if u read it. this anime shows the inspiration of romeo and juliet. in a more creative way. yet it still has its meaningful story line. :)

I love this anime! It's so amazing and it made me cry! Being a huge Shakespeare fan, it really was interesting to see the twist made on this classic love story.
