Do u think Beyonce is the 1st singer to perform sick & still do well? Dont U guys realize what she does. She knows this wasnt perfect & of course she has to be perfect all the time & when she isnt she needs an excuse so everyone will still kiss her ass. Who goes around saying I was so sick at that performance? They all perform sick they just dont brag after. When did she ever look like she wanted to stop? Beyonce didn't brag about being sick. She thanked Ellen openly, because Ellen was the one who keep her going in the crowd. Beyonce was about quit, until she saw Ellen happily singing every word. With a stomach flu, I doubt most of the artist today can sing live and still sound decent. I had it once, and dude I couldn't even stand up. I applaud her for her courage, it ain't the best, but she did what she had to do.

Once again STAN, when did she ever really look like she was about to quit? She wasnt! She just wanted to tell everyone she was sick, this happens to many other artist, beyonce just wanted the attention cause she knew her performance wasnt perfect so she told eveyone she was sick. Maybe she was, but shes not the first person to perform sick and still sound good, but theses stupid STANS beneath me act as if she is cause shes the only one arrogant enough to go around telling people shes sick!

Everyone has to realize that is good thing when singers lower keys that doesn't make you and good or bad singer, it makes you a smart singer. singing in a song in the orginal key all the time usually ends up with messed vocal cords and a finished career. So don't say she's not good because she lower the keys, that was smart. Also I realized from the comments alot of you all are not singers so you obviously won't realize what singing would do to your voice if not used correctly or over singing

She was in the midst of a tour at this time so in order to sustain her voice she really doesn't need to stay in the original key of the song. She actually had 7 months left for her tour so why would she blow it all for this one performace which was still amazing.

A real performer doesn't just up and quit. A great performer goes through with that shit. Imagine if Michael gave up? I've seen videos where Beyonce was apparently sick at her concert, ex. the one in Rotterdam w/ DC. She had a cold but still gave it her all. In this one she definitely did not give her all, and she thanked Ellen for pulling her through.

They all do, they just dont go around and say how sick they were for pitty or to make themself or someone else look better. Get it?
