I'm sure Eric Clapton had nothing to do with this song because I read his autobiography. He mentions the "While my guitar gently weeps" session as his first (and probably last) with the Beatles.
What I meant was you won't sound "exactly" like on the record if you play alone "with a pick". I'm a guitar player.

I would like to think the mixing of the cartoon figures with images of the actual Beatles and in uncannily well timed places in keeping with the lyrics was intentional, so that's what I'll think (as I happen to be dealing with something at the moment as it happens, that happens to perfectly correlate to 'cartoon images walking before the real person" as I sought out a good copy of this song to listen to and share with others.)
