This is a National Syndicated TV Show and ALL participants MUST be Compensated for their Likeness,which smells of "set-up". Personally, just watching the whole thing-- Not signing the citation means that you get arrested. He turned to walk away from the cop after being told to turn around (at which point he was under arrest, and the act of turning around is resisting arrest). He was resisting arrest and was tased to facilitate that arrest, and was given ample opportunity to cooperate the whole time. ...What's the problem, again?

Sorry for the AIDS post, that was my little brother getting on the computer when I was still signed in. All of what everyone who has been posting against the cops comments are for a different argument. The fact of the matter is he was under arrest and presented a danger in not following the cop's orders and the cop had to take measures to protect himself. Argue about nazis elsewhere. The cop was a dick and could have handled the situation a lot better by talking to the guy in the first place..

Also, when the cop told him to turn around and put his hands behind his back, he could of, oh I don't know, listened. Instead, he started walking back to his car, which to the unknowing officer could be an attempt to retrieve a weapon, and got tazed. Plus, when you got a taser pointed at you, you should listen. ... but for the way things went, it was handled well enough. If the cop was being malicious he would've zapped that guy way longer. He was being a prick by not talking with the guy or explaining it to him right then and there, but eventually he would've. And you don't have to be mirandized immediately following arrest, and obviously the cop had a few other things to take care of at the moment. All in all this wouldn't have taken place in a perfect world but oh well. Shit happens, deal with it.

The driver is a spoiled grownup, but the cop was definitely in the wrong. The guy did nothing to be tasered or arrested for. I hope he sues and the cop loses his job.
