I personaly think he was on par with Bill Hicks, sadly Bill never got the media attention he needed to get himself 'out there'. I think people saw what carlin was capable of and allowed him to thrive, but you right, he was Great.

As I watch this I wonder if anyone had measured this guys IQ...I know it really doesn't matter,but, I would guess 160-170 level....... This guy not only had his life planned when he was 11...He worked it out...step by step...to fruition...damn...I'm impressed...Thanks George...RIP...

Perhaps only seemingly so. Many comedians and journalists appear extroverted, yet are introverted. I do not know if this applies to George Carlin tho. Just a possibility..
