I grew up in Shreveport/Bossier, the only mallls I remember in Shrevport were St. Vincent and South Park. I am personally glad to be out of there. Of course I was there before the casinos and the economic revitalization. I did like living in Bossier

Please do not judge Shreveport by that part of town. The new Mayor is trying to clean up the town. he was left with a pretty large debt by Mr. Hightower, Hightower just wanted to tear old stuff down and build new stuff. just remember Elvis started here and a lot of other Rock n' Roll people. I moved here from California and I am glad I did that.
The only thing I have seen that I don't like is since the hurrican crime seems to have gone up.

Bored out of my mind until the Riverwalk got built-up but by then it was time for me to leave.

Shreveport now has only one mall, St. Vincent. South Park was sold to Summer Grove Baptist Church. It would have been nice if he could have captured all the businesses along Youree Drive.
