Part of Karajan's genius is that he was not just marketing music, but himself. To me, Karajan & Hitchcock are equivalent: their very name and their product (music, film) are intertwined in such a way as to make them synonymous. Hitchcock was as public a figure as the actors in his films, perhaps more so, and Karajan, too, made of himself a towering public figure in the musical market. To say "Karajan," as to say "Hitchcock," is to say class, quality, elegance, polish, indeed: music.

Everything about this symphony is absolutely magnificant! I said earlier, it is my favorite Beethoven symphony becouse it celebrates life and gives a new hope of something better for humanity. That's just my iterpretation, it might be wrong but still I imagine this symphony as yet another Beethoven's celebration of life. Symply amazing!
