This is the fourth cinematic of the game. This shows what happens after the human campaign.
In this video we see the prince, Arthas returning to Lordaeron, but the Arthas we see here isn't the noble Paladin anymore. He now has white hair, no longer carrying the war hammer, instead, he has the blade Frostmourne....He is no longer Arthas the Paladin, son of King Terenas, he is now...Artha

Man... the execution on this particular cutscene was so beautiful it was just undeniable. The pleasurable harmony of the loud, booming chorus, followed by the single, soft female voice... the movie-esque graphics... the INCREDIBLE voice acting... Activision is still one of the original video game company KINGS.

This event cause the true beginning of the story of warcraft 3. Well I think it is but whatever. I think this scene was the best and the music really fit well with the whole scene. The king should had listen to the prophet but no he has not listen and this what happen.

to be honest i hate the human campaign, i hate humans in the game, wich makes it more Age of Empires looking, so i prefer to play as a Night elf, or Undead, or anything but humans xD ANYONE UP FOR A GAME?! KUROSAKI91 CHANNEL NIGHTELF - TREE OF LIFE: Reign Of Chaos version. xD

Regarding the captions, isn't it Frostmourne who was whispering or brainwashing to Arthas' ears?
I've always got that spine-tingling sensation when Arthas said, "Succeeding you, father." Hence I keep playing that chapter "Frostmourne" in WC3: Reign of Chaos LoL.

If you understand the Warcraft Lore you will know that Frostmourne is part of the Lich King. Within the confines of the Frozen Throne he forged himself into a suit of armour and a sword with the capabilities to take over the body of whoever wears it. The Lich King did this because he knows that the Dreadlords will not give him a new body like they promised him before he created the Scourge.
