I suppose what she meant was that he was charismatic and exuded a radiance. When you think about it, nearly all major, culturally significant celebrities have this 'aura' of star quality about them. Think of any famous/semi-famous person you've ever met and you'll know what I mean then. Some peopl e are just born like that.
