This is the first song, "Only Shallow" from the first gig My Bloody Valentine has played in 16 years. It was a warm-up gig on June 13, 2008, at the Institute for Contemporary Arts in London preceding their summer 2008 tour. The sound is terrible because they're so loud, and there's only so much a compact video camera's mic can take. Anyway, enjoy!

I don't know if you even no where sonic death comes from(sonic youth), but fuck you sound like an asshole. This band has been around for a long time. I don't understand how people can't hear that this is a bad recording, not a bad song or peformance the mic can't handle the noise. I'm not a huge fan but I do respect them.

Hi - Try clicking on the video that looks exactly the same but is from trash180. It's the same video, but he took audio from a bootleg that was much better quality and laid it over the top. I was in the front row, and they're loud as hell, so the mike on my little camera was just blown away.

Saw them in Austin, TX at Liberty Lunch in 1992 I believe with Dinosaur, Jr. opening . The loudest and simultaneously most beautiful music!!! Couldn't hear for days.
