This song is rather symbolic, several of the racers were famous Black/White cartoon characters who never made it out of the era. Just as Betty was the only one to walk away from that race, so was she the only one to find some semblance of fame in a new generation of cartoon fans.

Dude agreed!! The best were looney tunes, merry melodies, I guess its not just the new generation of cartoon watchers. They now want me to by cartoon Boomerang to watch all that. F that, I'm a poor young adult, I can't afford cable, let alone EXTRA cable channels.

I remember seeing this on TV and i constantly recorded this song off the TV with a long mic cord, thats how i recorded stuff and movie dialogue off the TV b/c i didnt have alot of recording equipment just my tape recorder

You might adore the old and hate the new, but children today who like their CN will hate the new "CN". Get it?
The children that watches the CN you hate will love it but will hate the next era. It's all about growing up. Live with it.

I don't see any references that this video is made by an elite group of very successfully pot heads that run Cartoon network. silly silly. I like the music. I like to smoke. but do I like it because I smoke. No. do only pot heads watch old cartoons. no. I like his idea to use the betty boop thing because is is recreating something classic and epic. Betty boop was a huge sex icon despite her mispositioned body. Props to the Indea band who came out before "scene kids"
