Way too high for Judy Garland. She had a deeper, richer voice. He got the vibrato right but the pitch is completely rubbish. It's wierd Russell did SUCH a bad Garland as he was the best in his field. His Striesand, Midler, Mae and Bette are all fantastic.

I remember when he appeared on Ed Sullivan. He blew everyone away with his Judy Garland impersonation. It is to bad a talent like his is cut off to soon. Thank for the memories.

I think it is almost impossible to imitate garland. Most impersonators fall into the trap of portraying her as sickly sweet and gushy. In fact garland had an aloof quality that created a paradoxical tension between detachment and empathy with her audience. Oh, and the voice..now that IS impossible to emulate.

saw craig in sydney years ago.he did numerous ladies and then his judy was spot on-he moved straight from ?bette midler to judysat on the stagep pit and did born in a trunk.what a night !my wife and i staggered back to our hotel in a daze.yeah he was good!
