In this clip from the 1950's-60s British comedy group "Beyond the Fringe," Dudley Moore plays a very funny but also very musically well-done parody of a Beethoven Piano Sonata, using the famous whistling tune from "Bridge Over the River Kwai" as a thematic subject.

Not only is the song structure intact Mr. Moore is an astonishingly competent pianist. What a far cry from the (alcohol-induced) buffoon of his later years.

Not alcohol-induced at all!!! He suffered (and died) from a disease of the central nervous system. In the end he couldn't play the piano at all, and was wheelchair-bound. Get your facts right before making stupid comments.

The original is Rickett's Colonel Bogey March. It was parodied in Bridge on the River Kwai to be Hitler has only got one ball.

ha ha...i like the Rachmnaninov-style rhythmic signature at the end that sounds out "Dudley Moore". Unless I'm just hearing things. But i'm pretty sure that's another little joke in there.
