Perlman & Zukerman - Handel-Halvorsen: Passacaglia
Itzhak Perlman and Pinchas Zukerman in their youth, playing Handel's Passacaglia, arranged for violin and viola by Halvorsen. Amongst my favouite duets. Although significantly blander than Heifetz's and Primrose's, this performance still remains a classic.

ÄNDEL AS A VAT FOR TURGID LESS PLAYLIST. Welcome to the Arte-Deco baroque.Everything beautiful and mechanical. While individual phrases are allowed their own dynamic and tone, they are not allowed their own individuated timing or affect. All is incredibly hypnotically ...predictable
Seriously, though. I love Perlman, he's my inspiration and drive.
Did Perlman proposely do that or it was just a spur of moment?
