There was no test for EPO until 2001, and Tour riders weren't specifically screened for it until 2004. What L'Equipe did was to build, what they claim, is a paper trail, linking Armstrong's "B" samples, collected in 1999, with samples that were provided to the World Anti-Doping Agency for use in developing the EPO test.

The urine samples in question were allegedly anonymous, with only a numerical identifier, but L'Equipe claims to have copies of Armstrong's medical certificates, signed by both race doctors and the rider after doping tests, that show the same numerical identifier as the WADA samples.
Armstrong was never likely to be sanctioned, since there's no corroborating sample available, and the French lab provided them to WADA "on condition that they could not be used in any disciplinary proceeding."

Did Schnazer test actual Armstrong multi year old urine samples? Answer = NO! WADA never did a thing and you know why? They did nothing because the LNLD results could not be corroborated by ANYONE! FACT! LNLD themselves has never been able to replicate their claimed test results on other multi year old aged urine samples. NEVER! No lab to this day has shown testing multi year old urine is possible for EPO since EPO is highly unstable in urine and breaks down within 2-3 months idiot. LOL

Actually, yes you can wash away all of the "evidence" against him. There is an explanation for all of it, that exonerates Lance every time. Any reasonable person who looks at the issue with no bias can see that.

it would be easier than easy for the lab techs to alter test samples. Put some substance in any one of the number of devices the rider samples eventually goes into and poof, instant positive sample. Chemists are losers, just walk into any chemistry class and you'll find a bunch of jerk wad students who don't give two ****s about anything.
