As A Die Hard Purplr fan from the 70's I want to be the part of the many other die hard purple fans and say, What the Fuck is this shit! That was the worst performance I ever seen. Ian was probably drunk off his ass and Richie probably was mad at him for being so drunk. For any newbies of DP, the Made in Japan version is one of the best live albums of ALL TIME of any GROUP with NO over dubbing. Now thats the real talent of Deep Purple

Can you really say that was a great performance by Ian Gillan? Knowing as much as I do about the band I am sure that the band (and Ian) probably would have to say it was the worst recorded live version of that song they ever done. Look up band interviews on you tube and you will find out it just wasn't Richie to fault when it came to the animosity between the two.
