I am guessing you addressed the Bulgarian language which would make you an utterly ignorant bloke, so let's hope it's not the Bulgarian language you were referring to. Should it be so though, then let me just tell you that Bulgarian is the oldest written slavic language and is a truly rich language with beautiful expressions. Calling it an ugly language only reveals facts about your personal level of culture...

From your quite subjective point of view it might be considered what you call "ugly to hear" but this is certainly not what the majority of people think of the Bulgarian language. I speak both German and Bulgarian and I find it ridiculous that many find also German to be an ugly language to listen to.
German can be beautiful and Goethe is on of many proofs confirming it.

Now as far as Bulgarian goes- Bulgarian cannot be objectively ugly to hear, as you call it, simply because there are thousands of lovely Bulgarian folklore songs where the language sounds amazing. It sounds amazingly well when it is spoken by women too. Have you listened to a Bulgarian song and I mean a beautiful old one? I kind think not...
What about your language, which one is your native language?
