if you knew the first thing about photography youd know that cameras cant capture both bright and dim objects in one exposure.
use a fast exposure and you capture only bright objects.
expose the film for longer and you will capture dim objects (the stars in this case) but the bright ones will be overexposed.
the astronauts would have no interest in the stars anyway, they came to take pictures of the moon and that is what their cameras were designed to do.
next time get your facts straight.
