the great thing with eva is you can watch it a few times and slowly start to understand it, appreciate it, and realise how great it is.
then all of a sudden you will get a moment of clarity and realise it's probably one of the greatest tv shows ever made, the plot, characters and whole situation is fucked up, only then can you start to really appreciate and understand it
there are so many levels and emotions you have to go through befor you can fully realise evangelion

I like it but then I realised it seems to be made for Emo's. The whole religion thing ruined the series, why couldn't they have just stuck with science or aliens or whatever. That and the fact Japanese story telling makes no logical sense. I like how people try to sound philosophical by blabbering on about how its so deep and you have to go through levels to realise the true show. Blah blah its poor story telling covered up by random crap to make it look "deep".
