Right...
Leave an empty spot for the one you didn't get this year, and put an asterisk next to the others.
Then whine some more. Then make some more excuses. Then talk about how in some far away universe, 18-1 without a championship (the ONLY 18-1 team without a championship) is better than 14-6 with a championship...
Pats fans, you're embarrassing yourselves.
Take it like a man, or woman... just act like an adult.
Pats averaged 36+ ...( 6 months ago by f2productions)
Pats averaged 36+ points per game and 430+ yards per game in the regular season...
Against the Giants they scored 14 (7 a gift due to a defender falling down and leaving Moss uncovered for Brady's ONLY TD of the game) and less than 280 TOTAL yards.
"Brady still had more yards" Are you fucking kidding me??
That's nothing but whiny sore loser Bull Shit!
GIANTS DEFENSE OWNS YOU!!
Pats fans were talking a ton of smack BEFORE the game...
Now all they have is excuses and whiny crap.
*18-1!!!

You're arguing if he had more yards? Even a five year old can look at 2 numbers and tell you which is more. Gift from a defender? What do you think the Buress TD was? Six world championships... That was when? when the NFL had SUCH forces like the Columbus Panhandles and Dayton Triangles, that's intimidating. Eespecially since FOUR of those "world championsips" came BEFORE the Patriots even existed I don't see how the pats were a joke at the time. Come back with some relevancy next time.

Act like an adult? You're the one Giants fan sill in Super Bowl hangover that replied to me 2 weeks later when the hatchet was already buried (you understand that phrase right?).
The Burress TD was ...( 6 months ago by f2productions)
The Burress TD was Hobbs getting BEAT. Burress, bad ankle, bad knee just beat Hobbs....
Webster on the other hand FELL. Watch it again.. see the highlights! Hobbs is on his feet while Webster fell 5 yards past the line or so.
Go ahead... Have a look.
As for the Championships. They are what they are. Do I need to remind you that the Pats were the whipping boys of the league in the 80s and 90s?
But history is just that.. history. And for the Pats the greatest season in their history is 18*-1.
LOL!
Right. Like ...( 6 months ago by f2productions)
LOL!
Right. Like we wouldn't still be hearing "19-0 perfect" everywhere if the shoe was on the other foot. The amount of TRASH talk and disrespect coming out of Pats fans and New England media was disgusting.
No reason to let up now because it's one of the greatest upsets in sports history and despite what you might want to think, it will be talked about for years.
Now go play some video games.
The Moss TD comment ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
The Moss TD comment of yours is moronic, Webster was behind Moss even while on his feet, it would have been 98% still a TD had he not fell. Remind me of Pats sucking in the 80's and 90's? Then I'd have to remind you about the 70's and Miracle at the Meadowlands as well as the mid-90's to before the 07 season.
The most important ...( 5 months ago by f2productions)
The most important thing godofwar1012 is this...
GIANTS DEFENSE OWNED THE PATS!
The Patriots offense has NEVER been so completely beat up. Tom Brady has never been hit/sacked so many times in his career.
Sure the Giants had a rough time in the 70's... But they're still a far more successful and historic franchise...
Speaking of history... 18*-1. Great season, but just a footnote really. Nice percentage btw. Is that a scientific measure or just more whiny BS?
dodofwar1012: I'm ...( 5 months ago by f2productions)
dodofwar1012: I'm not arguing if he had more yards.. I'm responding to some idiot whiny pats fan who somehow thinks Brady having more passing yards (barely) is some kind of knock on the Giants.
Not my problem the Giants have a running game! How many rushing yards did the pats rack up btw? Since we're going down that road.
How is 18-1 a ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
How is 18-1 a footnote, it was a record setting season. The Pats DID end up with 2 individual records,an mvp, 2 offense POY candidates, and a team record for scoring.
It was more of a ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
It was more of a Pats off. loss than a G-men dline win, because if you can remember the Eagles and Ravens also threw brady around but lost. How could the Giants cut down all of brady's stats in their 2nd matchup? SImple, the patriots slacked off. even against the Chargers brady didn't feel comfortable. The Giants had 0 sacks on the Packers, so how could they all of a sudden pull 5 on a better-than-the-Packers' Patriots oline. All in all no one can reverse the past so this argument is stupid.
The first stage in ...( 5 months ago by f2productions)
The first stage in the grieving process is denial. You like most Pats "fans" clearly haven't moved past that point.
Your response is nothing more than flawed and biased logic. It's laughable.
Facts are facts.
The pats didn't give this game away, the Giants took it. You could tell yourself otherwise if it makes you feel better but the entire sports world knows differently.
I never directly or ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
I never directly or indirectly said anything to the effect of giving the game away, I was leaning towards the Pats not playing at the top of their game like the Giants. Denial? I accepted the Pats loss, if you didn't read my last sentence of the above comment, and I could say that the Patriots could look forward to a better season next year than the free agency defense-depleted Giants, while your trying to stick your dick in my face and basically keep me thinking about the past.
Not to mention that ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
Not to mention that the only effect you have had on me is that you've been clogging my e-mail inbox with "someone has replied to your comment". And in terms of "facts", the entire sports world doesn't know about the SB upset, because i can guarantee you that a Mexican sitting in Central Mexico rooting for "Guadalajara FC" thinks that a Giant is the guy on the can of corn and a Patriot is a guy like Hidalgo. We should do ourselves a favor and drop this stupid debate over the internet and move on.
godofwar: "Free ...( 5 months ago by f2productions)
godofwar: "Free agency depleted defense of the GIants" ??
The Giants lost two defensive starters to free agency (FYI Torbor was a back up). The PATS on the other hand lost their ENTIRE defensive backfield, and a #2 receiver.
But whatever. I'm glad you've moved on... or at least you say you do.
godofwar: This ...( 5 months ago by f2productions)
godofwar: This isn't a "debate" between you and I. You're the one that decided to continue commenting. I simply decided to chime in seeing Pats fans that are still whiny, bitching and making excuses. So I'll continue to leave comments as I deem appropriate.
Glad to see you've moved on and accepted the fact that the Patriots got physically beaten up by the Giants defense and Tom Brady was tossed around like a rag doll in the biggest game in Pats franchise history.
Glad you've accepted 18*-1.
FYI Torbor started ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
FYI Torbor started the last 8 or 9 games of the season including the SB. Along with Mitchell and Wilson gone, and the possible retirement of strahan, the giants don't look too well on the def. side of the ball. The Pats lost their entire def. backfield? Last time I checked they still had harrison, james sanders, and ellis hobbs. Gay and eugnene wilson left, but they didn't start. Plus, the Pats have signed like 4 or 5 DBs with the possibility of aqib talib in the draft.
in terms of losing ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
in terms of losing Donte, big deal...The Pats still have the better-stat-producing Moss and Welker. Not to mention Jabbar Gaffney who played very well down the stretch of the reg. season.
godofwar: FYI: ...( 5 months ago by f2productions)
godofwar: FYI: Torbor started because Mathias Kiwinuka was on IR. The biggest loss is Kiwika. As for Strahan, he'll probably be back. But if he isn't... Ever heard of JUSTIN TUCK? He'll be starting in Strahan's place. He sacked Brady twice in limited play time in the Super Bowl.
So I guess you're right. The GIants are screwed next season, the Pats gave the game up, the refs fixed the game, the Giants were lucky to win, and 19-0 next year.
I'm going to burn my Super Bowl Champions stuff.
I know Kiwanuka was ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
I know Kiwanuka was on IR, but what if it happens again? Or if Tuck (who i'll agree is very good)gets hurt IF Strahan retires?
Plus what is your opinion on Kiwanuka? In all seriousness most people only know him for that mis-tackle mishap. (not an attack on Giants, just want to know)
He's a playmaker. ...( 5 months ago by f2productions)
He's a playmaker. He'll be fine at EITHER DE or LB. I think he'll stay at LB. He was originally a DE, they moved him to LB because he played some LB in collage. He started less than a full year and made some plays.
If Tuck goes down... Tollefson. Also a very solid back up. I'm not worried, the Giants have no lack of pass rushers. They're very deep at DL.
good analysis, and ...( 5 months ago by godofwar1012)
good analysis, and your the resident Giants expert so I'll take your word on it. Never heard of Tollefson but I'm sure that any pass rusher in the Giants system can do fine.
Plus what is your opinion on Kiwanuka? In all seriousness most people only know him for that mis-tackle mishap. (not an attack on Giants, just want to know)
