stalin wasn't a fascist( fascism has certain characteristics that set it apart from other forms of totalitarianism if you need a good definition of it read the wikipedia article, it's pretty spot on and simplifies it but doesn't take away any of the meaning) he was a totalitarian and a betrayal to communism( i have soviet songs because i was born there and thus it's a nostalgia ;) ). i live in the south

fascism is an authoritarian ideology where the state is controlled by a reactionary dictatorsship, where the legitimacy of the regime is achieved through force( miltary and police strength), and the citizens are forced to be united on certain characteristics such as race, religion, ethnicity. chauvinism and militarism are also characteristics. the USA and UK are both imperialist countries but aren't fascist. Stalin wasn't a fascist either, although he was pretty bad in any case
