Thanks for a relaxed look at presidential politics. All candidates to me look like idiots. There is not a single grain of truth spoken nowadays. Ron Paul seems like a small flickering flame in a storm of special interest driven liars that rule our country.

I am a democratic socialist who endrorses kucinich (or Gravel) for president. However ron paul is brilliant, and if he actually received the nomination in a fluke and was up against hilary for president I would support him in a heartbeat. Fundamentally i am opposed to his extremely capitalist outlook,i agree with his views on liberty and im so happy to hear that one republican isnt an idiot

Good to hear that you like Ron Paul too... His principles are uniting us. But how can you be a socialist and still want freedom? Socialism is about big government bureaucracy, and few market choices... You know what I mean? Freedom and choices are synonyms, and with socialism, you get very few choices, all you get is government (which always gets corrupt)

I believe that privatized industry has no responsibility to the welfare of people, that things like healthcare, subsidized housing, jobs and public education should be nationalized. In a free market system there is no responsibilty to the laboring population, and it becomes a liability to take care of them. There's no point in labor laws if a business can simply take work to where there are no labor laws, and thusly we lose jobs by attempting to provide better conditions for workers.
