Not really sure what your point is here. I am a huge Johnny fan and SRV as well. As a accomplished musician I hate this who is number one crap as it is purely a point of contention for ones own taste.

I don't find this hard to watch at all. I am 52, a Texan, and a longtime, respectful fan. John is where is in his life. He will pass as we all do. Obviously he has no desire to eat mush and have his shorts changed in a nursing home while scooting down a dead end hallway in a wheelchair. He will do as he pleases and die on the job I expect, rockin out, oblivious to our opinions.
