Well Puccini heard Tom Burke sing and as was the COMPOSERS right, he thought Mr. Burke did not embellish songs that were scored in Puccins mind to be sung in a certain way.
Now iv'e got nothing but admiration for Del Monaco, but musically his and all other Nessun Dorma's are rhythmically flawed..but im spolied, because iv'e got Tom Burkes version.
