Barack Obama appearing on the Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday weekend at Dr. King's old church to make an inspiring speech that, among other things, addressed possible prejudices among Obama's own allies in the Black community. White leaders of England came into the country and forced leaders of villages to sell a number of people to the whites for work, if they didn't then they would kill and/or make all people in the village slaves anyway. I know it's hard to believe and I have thought about it but Africa was and still is a very under povershed country. It's hard to wrap ones mind around why they never fought back but some Africans did fight back, just a small few, I did research today, and like I said they were either killed or became slaves anyway, it was a hard battle but the English were stronger.

Most slaves that were brought over had already been enslaved by neighboring tribes and were sold to Europeans. By the way, it was not just the English, there were many different nations at work in the slave trade. And the injustices done to african americans is nothing compared to the injustices that were done, and are still being done, to the native americans

I've been hearing a lot of criticism about Obama, such as "Obama will be the next Bush if he becomes President" and "Obama is a Muslim", but I'm not finding the concrete support for these arguments or any others made against him? WHERE are they? I don't know why people don't like him, but I guess I may be naive since I've only been on this Earth for 21 years and don't see a racial divide unless it's extremely noticeable (ie: the black ghetto stereotype)
