God loves like a Hurrican ?
But a hurrican is somthing grusom that destroys and kills. I guess where I am coming from, is that Postmodernism is attacking language, and it is fustrating. Can someone please help, please.. I Understand that God is not a Hurrican, that it is an allorgy, but the point is that the allorgy doesen make any sence.

You have to take the whole phrase into context: "Love like a hurricane, I am a tree bending beneath the weight of your grace and mercy". It says God's love is like if it were a hurricane and we were a tree. It is so much and so strong that we almost bend with the weight of such a powerful love.

I so can relate to John's bestfriend because of how much he loved the youth of this generation and wanted to see God's glory revealed to the youth!!! I too have that same passion. This testimony cut into my heart like razor sharp knives, I thought I had a big heart for the youth, but man this guys heart encourages me to continue to persevere and stand firm in the gap for the kids!!! He is Jealous for you, because He wants you all for him. He doesn't want you distracted by anything else so that he can engulf you completely with His love. Life is full of distractions, and He knows that, but He wants you to spend quiet time with Him, alone everyday. Just being in his presence renews the life within you because He is a loving God.
