Bare Minerals application. Note that my methods are different than the suggested methods shown on the Bare Minerals DVD that comes with starter kits. This is just my preferred method. :)
***ALSO FYI, I took down the previous video: Brush Cleaning Tutorial, and will post a new one soon with my new method. Apologies to those who didn't like it; I've corrected myself and would be happy to show my viewers a proper way.

i have really sensetive skin too, but i started using a mineral powder(physicians formula) and it actually feels really nice. by the way if you have acne, the best thing i've found, is just putting toothpaste on them at night(after cleansing of course!)

YMMV. Some people are irritated by the bismuth oxychloride in it. Make sure you buy it from somewhere with a good return policy. I'd take a look at your skincare routine. Are you sure that it's not something else that you are using that's making you breakout? Perhaps it's just hormonal & the breaking out when you first started using makeup is just a coincidence? Are you using benzyl peroxide, salicylic acid or a prescription retinoid (differin/retin-a) to treat your breakouts?

Wow, I know this is an older video but I've been using BE for years and it's finally nice to see that I'm not crazy like all the other BE tutorials that put like the teeniest-tiniest amount ever. I mean, who's face does that really cover? LOL! It's so cool that we have the same technique I think it works really well. :)

Great video, it really helped me a lot, thank you. :D You look beautiful, by the way! I'm 15 and I just started using make up and I wasn't really sure how to do it. But one thing I was wondering is after you put bare minerals on are you supposed to like be able to see the powder stuff on your face when you like look in the mirror up close? It may sound like a noobish question but I wouldn't know, lol. =)

Excellent video. You are lucky to have such pretty skin to start with, but Bare Minerals (and other talc-free lines) really IS a great foundation. On aging skin it is best to lighten up the amount used however - otherwise it settles into creases and ends up adding years as opposed to removing them. You can also avoid this by gently dabbing a damp cloth over your foundation after applying. It takes care of any "powdery" appearance.

I meant on skin like mine - I'm 44, so my skin is drier than someone in their teens or twenties. The mineral foundations are awesome - I definitely recommend them for anyone. I also have not had a single blackhead or pimple since I started using, though I used to get a couple right before "that time."

this is a great foundation, and a really good tutorial. but for first time users *please* don't start off using so much. the amount shown applied to one cheek is more than i use on my entire face. and our skin is about the same. you'll waste your money and dry out your skin. the foundation isn't meant to be used in this way.

I've used bare minerals for 2 years, & honestly it just doesn't have the coverage I need. (I often have to use foundation underneath) My maximum concealer brush broke 2 months in from tapping the excess like you're instucted to; eventually the "metal" section came to loose and fell off (my handybuki is also getting flimsy) Without the concealer brush the kit was pretty much useless to me because my biggest issue is dark circles under my eyes. Does anyone have suggestions? How's the rev-er upper?
