I was watching the debates and wondering who some of these guys were. I'd never heard of Ron Paul. Oh sure! I get Obama and Hilary. And there was good old Rudy. And there was McCain and Romney. But who the hell was this somewhat small old man named Ron Paul. Then he started to talk, FINALLY! And then I thought what the hell is he talking about. He sure din't seem to be in the same league as the rest of them. Continued on next post.

At first I thought he was acting like a clown. But then I understood that he was hard of hearing to a slight degree. It wasn't that he was stupid. He just hadn't heard the others right.See next post for finish. And then something truly amazing to me happened. I started listening more closely. WHY? Because all of a sudden I relized this guy was saying something, newer, better, and more astutely than anyone else was. Oh My God! Contunued next post.

THis guy was the real thing,answering questions from his head and heart,not the company line.Who the hell was this guy! I've spent a lot of time finding out. And you know what? As crazy as everyone else wants us to believe he is. NOT LIKELY! Maybe small! Maybe old! Maybe a little cooky. But would I love to see all politicos as smart and truthful as this guy. The real deal is sometimes hard to see, when surrounded by so much mediocrity and crap. But all you have to do is get rid of the crap in your ears to listen. The blinders off your eyes to see. How funny 101orson101, I felt the same exact way. Who is this clown? I asked myself out loud, but then I listened to what he was saying and I became a true supporter of Ron Paul. Here in Vermont the local media whines and whines about no one (R's and D's) running for office but do you think they cover the third party candidates?????????? NO, that's a hell no even while some media is locally owned. You will only hear of R's and D's chosen. Love the callers to this show. But need to take more calls. Joy Bahr is the only media to mention RP won in military elections....

I'm all for support of a lot of Paul's policies. Some of these people sound like LOONS. I can imagine some of these people calling in with their certificate of attendance in High school instead of a diploma. Tin foil on their heads to keep the government out. That's what turns a a lot of people off Dr. Paul.. not his ideas but his followers. I know someone has noticed that other than me.

No problem being late! Better than not showing up at all. There are a few weirdos who support Ron Paul here (Raleigh, NC). I've seen one or two with actual tinfoil hats.. using the tinfoil hats to epitomize the "weird" stereo-type. Just like there are still the black militants in dashikis supporting Obama and gun toting backwoods people supporting McCain. I just noticed that a lot of times in can be the followers of the candidate that scare off new members.
