Omg everybody, seriously, some of these parts will sound arrogant and pretentious if you're going to put "emotion" and "heart" into them. Don't you think the the music itself it great? I mean I do. But what more are you going to ask from this performance? For her to swing herself with her violin and nearly weep? Just enjoy it. I mean you don't see THAT many 15 yearolds do this with an orchestra.

a fabulous performance! I still think that even with this song as beautiful as it is that Beethoven's Concerto for Violin is still nicer! She should perform that one some time- id like to see how she stacks up with Joshua Bell!

You do NOT reach this level of virtuosity without having a HUGE love and passion for the instrument, PERIOD.
Violin is THE most expressive musical instrument of all, second in emotion only to the human voice. But it is a jellous instrument and will bite you hard and even break you if you dont give it your utmost attention.
You cant fake, or buy that desire. You have to really WANT it. Anyone who says Sara Chang has no passion and emotion, is just blabbing to hear their self speak.
