Stevie Nicks is NOT a Witch, and she has said this herself many times. She uses a lot of varying myths and beliefs in her songwriting, but they are not *her* personal beliefs.
There is absolutely nothing 'wrong' with being a witch ~ *I'm* a Pagan Witch.

Stevie had read the book "Triad" by Mary Leader, which had a character called Rhiannon. She liked the name and wrote the song, and only then found out about the Welsh Goddess.
A lot of the witch rumours started because of her choice to wear black outfits on stage, like the one on the "Rumours" cover. She said she wanted to prove a woman could look sexy under a hundred pounds of chiffon and lace {having had to go topless for the "Buckingham Nicks" album cover, and vowing 'never again'}.
