I'll watch the documentary, but WOAH, how is HITLER equal to Ahmadinejad and Bin Laden????? Ahmadinejad is something of a reasonable connection (both are elected dictators at least, but even still, it's the Ayatollah that is the leader of Iran) but Bin Ladin???? he's not the leader of any state at all, he doesnt' get corporate backing like the nazi's did (althought he gets support from the US). well, i'll watch it anyway.

At first I was astonished someone could compare Bush to Churchill. After all, Churchill made a historic blunder in his early career by committing troops to the Dardanelles during WW1, despite being warned what a huge mistake it would be. He had a colonialist perspective on the world, and as First Lord of the Admiralty he increased Britain's addiction and reliance on foreign oil ... in fact, come to think of it, he is exactly like Bush!

Your deliberately skewed perspective on Churchill ignores the obvious message of the trailer: There is a clear difference between conservative, democratically elected leaders who defend civilization from evil & the men who seek to do evil. Hitler = Communists & Islamofascists who threaten civilization. Churchill = those who defend civilization; all of whom have been unfairly attacked by the political left of their time.

Yes my comment was intended to be tongue in cheek. I was just showing how the similarites could be turned the other way round.
As for Churchill being 'unfairly attacked by the political left' - many Conservatives in Britain had supported appeasement in the run-up to WW2 (including his predecessor N. Chamberlain), and more than a few isolationist Republicans opposed supporting Britain's war effort, at least before Pearl Harbour.

Yes, people on the political right also make mistakes, as all humans do, but that does not change the point I was making. Churchill, Reagan, & Bush have been vehemently attacked by the left wing as "warmongers" or "like Hitler" while those same left wingers ignore real evil. I believe it is important for people to make rational distinctions between good & evil, & to learn from the past, rather than making jokes or spins facts to cloud our understanding of history (which you seem inclined to do).

If you are so concerned about the 'facts', then look at a list of dictators and illegitimate leaders the Right has supported - Pinochet, Castillo, Suharto, Batista, the apartheids in South Africa, not to mention Saddam Hussein! The list is endless. You seem to think there is a huge difference between left and right, but the fact is democratic capitalist nations have, the vast majority of the time, supported whoever benefits their own economy.

What can I say? These 500 character or less debates are pointless since you will only continue to spew out distortions which I do not have the room to rebutt. You clearly have a very skewed view of history & reality, with little sense of proportion. The fact that every person or groups has some flaws doesn't make everyone equally flawed. For example: you will never find any conservative Am leader who praised Pinochet, etc as a visionary leader, the way huge numbers of the left praised Stalin.

Actually, Stalin was on Hitler's side at the beginning of the war & was only forced to change sides when Hitler betrayed him -- watch my entire film for more details. Our relationship with Stalin was one of necessity but, sadly, many on the left praised him, before, during, & after his alliance with Hitler, as the greatest leader ever & the bringer of Utopia (even as he murdered his own people by the millions).
