Hallo, nice video. It ´s a normal engine, with the 150 hp, because I think it has more hp as 150. The car runs really fast to 200 km/h, see my videos.

Speedometers in ...( 11 months ago by C20rules)
Speedometers in European cars normally show higher than the actual speed (because of the European Union transportation law).
To get accurate speedmeasurements it's better to use an external meter, like a good GPS-receiver - Magellan Explorist 100 is accurate to +/- 0,3 km/h and cost only 90-100 Euros,
One with faster refresh rate, up to 100 Hz (to get accurate acceleration tests etc.), but more expensive, is Racelogic VBOX.

I was a little bit wrong - it's not the European models that have bad speedos it's the cars sold in Europe because of the European Union Transportation law

Actually that comment is not entirely right. The Law says that there is a tolerance of 10%. Speedometers CAN be up to 10% fast (but never slow).
On the other hand I also own a W203 C220CDI and the speedo is extremely accurate at 225kms/h (1-2kms fast).
Most (cheap) cars have a significant error margin because it's just cheaper to do it that way... fortunately the C class isn't in that category ;o)

That's because i want to show the info to many and is to lazy too write new comments on every - the problems is for the most cars in Europe not just Mercedes (I don't thin mercedes is worse than any one else),
Observe the problem is for the cars SOLD in Europe not the European models - I was a little bit wrong there - it's easy to check the speedo, Magellan Explorist 100 GPS-receiver is accurate to +/-0,3 km/h and cost only 90-100€

I tested a volvo V50 only to 100 km/h (I went with a slow driver) and the error was only 1 km/h too fast - usually it's about 3-10 km/h at that speed. I even went with another Volvo (V70) erlier and it showed 109 at 100 km/h and 172 at 160 km/h.
If you've tested your it's good - but I can hardly think the speedo is more accurate because the car is expensive - the speedometer is ment to keep you within the speedlimits not to measure the performence of the car.

I have one C220 cdi 150 HP engine with automatic transmission and i've reached 233 km/h when it is on sports mode, in confort mode it doesn't go faster than 220 km/h!
