I think the voice acting is spot on. Guy sounds pretty similar to his Japanese VA. Right down to the screaming.
According to Wikipedia, the reason they didn't finish it was lack of interest. Which is kinda sad. This is a great series.

People bashing down on the dub seems to be a bunch of weeaboos who won't even give it a chance. Guy's VA does a really good job for the first episode, I think it sounds like a good dub for once. Sure, I think the original Jap version is better, but they've got NOBUYUKI HIYAMA as Guy!
