I loved this woman's voice. Made a point of finding out who she is and looking for her on youtube. She needs to sing something besides blue grass. Her voice is capable of so much more; or, maybe it's beauty should be spread around. I love her.

Well...I like this version, actually. The voice is bright and happy without being fake. There's a nice beat to it and it makes you feel a little nice inside, but not patronized, even though the lyrics are kinda like for kids. Heh. Miyazaki rocks.
And I have to say: the instrumental, lyrics, artwork and movie itself are all...cute. Heh. :|

I have Both The Disney and The orginal, The orginal has a Much calmer, and better Voice Singing The opening song. The Disney version also has Diffrent lines Said then in the orginal, and no they werent bad ones taken out.

Meh... Add me to the list of those who prefer the Fox dub themes. I still don't have the DVD yet, but when they showed the Disney dub on Turner Classic Movies, I was like "WTF?!" when the song started playing. It has the lyrics of the old one, but the new singer... Ugh. Sorry, but NO. Wish the Fox DVD didn't have sucky quality...
