Hey, good show guys! The Phils and PSU are my favorite teams for MLB and NCAA and how great is it to have a talk show about Philly area teams on YouTube. I'm definitely subscribing to your channel.

umm, morons, when psu scheduled oregon st and syracuse, the two teams had just combined for 19 wins in the previous season. these schedules are set well in advance. i can't believe sports writers wouldn't know that. additionally, psu has alabama on the docket for a home-home starting in 2010. do a little research before you start yammering on a video blog. yeesh.

I don't know if I'd call Oregon State a cupcake. Oregon State only looks like a cupcake because Penn State blew them out, and the preception is that Penn State is always a mediocore team who always loses to or squeaks past good teams. I think Penn State is for real this year. Sure, Coastal Carolina is a cupcake, no excuses. But Oregon State is decent, and so is Temple. Syracuse is bad, but were good when scheduled. I really think right now Illinois will just be a 5th tuneup game.

where do they say they aren't set in advance? they're just saying, hypothetically, if they played a harder schedule, would it be better for the lions?
listen again, ... ( 1 month ago by newsongj14)
listen again, friend. they talk about penn st "scheduling cupcakes" as a strategy they are intentionally employing. that is just not the case considering when they scheduled these teams, A FEW YEARS AGO, they had just combined to win 19 games. that is not a cupcake strategy. and people getting paid to know something about sports should know it. any questions?
no they aren't. he ... ( 1 month ago by seraphicx)
no they aren't. he just asks, "what's better?" better to play an easier schedule or a harder one? and that's it he's not saying they "purposely" scheduled it the way they did...he just asks (and its the purpose of the whole segment) whether hypothetically, better to play easier teams in PSU's spot, or harder teams like USC...
ha, you must have ... ( 1 month ago by newsongj14)
ha, you must have wax in your ears. moreover, oregon st is really a cupcake team, considering how they really laid an egg last night against southern cal last night... wait... they beat SC! does that mean psu played a team that is able to play with southern cal as part of their non-con schedule? yeah, i think that's what that means. sit DOWN.
looks like it's ... ( 1 month ago by seraphicx)
looks like it's time to go back to community college, because you failed english. it's called context, and you're completely misreading it. they don't ever say SHOULD they have played a harder/easier schedule. it's pretty obvious they're talking hypothetically and this was uploaded a few days ago, before the USC upset...so whatever. satisfy your ego yet?
4 Cupcakes. Can't ... ( 1 month ago by westyone1)
4 Cupcakes. Can't agree more with some of these posts. These teams are scheduled 4-5 years in advance, when we beat USC 38-14 in 1994 and they were not ranked in the top 25 would that have been one of your "cupcakes"
